The Havey Institute for Global Health offers a number of opportunities to medical students at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, including clinical rotations at international partner institutions during the summer between their first and second years as well as at various points during phases 2 and 3 of the curriculum. - For non-elective travel between first and third year: January 26, 2025, 11:59 p.m. CST
- For elective travel during fourth year: March 2, 2025, 11:59 p.m. CST

HBNU Fogarty Global Health Training Program
The HBNU Fogarty Global Health Training Program is a one-year fellowship in global health research training for pre- and postdoctoral candidates from the U.S. and lower-middle-income countries, sponsored by the Fogarty International Center and several collaborating centers and institutes at the National Institutes of Health. This program aims to generate a new cadre of global health scientists, educators and professionals who will be prepared to address the new challenges in global health.
Long-Term Global Health Project Funding
Funding for long-term global health projects is available to support Feinberg student engagement in global health and to encourage student interest in and understanding of cross-cultural competencies, social determinants of health and clinical practice in resource-limited settings, among other topics.
