Description of Interests

My primary clinical and research interests are in HIV and viral hepatitis. I am Principal and Co-Investigator on a number of epidemiological studies of HIV, viral hepatitis B and C co-infection and hepatocellular carcinoma in the US, Tanzania and Nigeria. I also treat patients with HIV and viral hepatitis B and C in the outpatient setting at NU. Other areas of research interest include HIV drug resistance and non-communicable diseases (NCD's) in HIV.
